Katie has worked in the finance area for both non-profit and for profit agencies in the mental health field.  She obtained her Masters Degree in Education from Northern Arizona University and has been a trainer for therapists and case managers in multiple software systems.  Katie has worked with the different agencies to provide solutions to barriers for mental health care, including the CAPAZ grant to bring necessary services for clients living near the border of Mexico.  She believes that health care costs should be transparent and that all clients should understand what their costs for care should be so that they can focus on resolving issues that interfere with life.
