Brandie Blount-Turner was born and raised  in Los Angeles, California. In 2003 she obtained her B.A. in Psychology from California State University Dominguez. After graduating, Brandie relocated to Nashville, Tennessee and obtained her Master of Science degree in Social Worker with a Clinical/Non-Profit Management concentration from the University of Tennessee. Brandie later became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Brandie has worked in the field of social services and mental health for over 15 years. She has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including group homes, hospitals, schools, community-based therapy programs, and non-profit organizations.
