Scott Stern is a fully bilingual/bi-cultural (English/Spanish) Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who has worked with children, families, couples, and adolescent/adult individuals with a variety of issues and diagnoses.  Scott has worked within the mental health field for over eighteen years, utilizing revolutionary approaches in order to provide his clients with profound, empowering, and effective experiences in counseling.

Scott received a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics/Spanish from the University of California Los Angeles and his Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Phillips Graduate Institute before ultimately achieving his licensure in California and Texas as a Marriage and Family Therapist.  He has worked as a Clinical Supervisor and a Psychotherapist at prestigious non-profit organizations while also seeing individuals for therapy within a private practice setting.

Scott utilizes his Adlerian roots and a plethora of approaches that are meant to fit his clients’ needs in order to create insightful, inspired, and long-lasting impacts that lead to positive results within his clients’ lives. Scott is very careful to ensure that his clients know that they are the experts on their issues and that therapy is a partnership in which both parties come together to collaborate on a productive and comfortable process.
